The obverse of these coins usually depicts a bust of the ruler facing right, surrounded by a corrupted or stylized version of a Greek inscription. The reverse typically shows Garuda, a mythical bird and the vahana (mount) of Vishnu, with its wings spread. A Brahmi inscription is also present on the reverse, usually containing the ruler’s name and titles.
